Anton Ferdinand’s brother Rio says that the injury that happened to Cristiano Ronaldo was not a fault of Dimitri Payet.
Payet was involved in the tackle which caused the injury and cut short the presence of the Portugal skipper on the pitch.
Some people, including the mum of the Blancos player, are taking on Payet, but, Rio, a one-time teammate of Ronaldo, is not of the opinion that there was any intention of the Frenchman to do what happened.

The manager of the England national football team, Roy Hodgson, doesn’t feel that his decision to include the Liverpool player Daniel Sturridge in the starting XI for the friendly match against Germany was a wrong one and he has made it clear that he is not going to apologize for that.
Sturridge was actually not 100% fit before that game against Germany. He was struggling with an injured thigh, but, despite that, Hodgson started with him and kept him on the ground for the entire game.

It seems Jack Rodwell has got back to 100% fitness. He featured for the youth team of Manchester City in a match against U-21 Rochdale side yesterday and played for full 90 minutes.
The City youth team ended up winning that match in the penalty shootout by 4-2.
Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand has had a cheeky dig at former England international captain John Terry after the Chelsea skipper’s father was accused of racial abuse in a pub.
And the younger brother of Manchester United defender Rio has posted a cheeky message of Twitter, where he posted a picture of the cover of The Game’s song ‘Like Father, Like Son’, telling his followers that it’s always nice to have his music on shuffle.
Ted Terry was arrested earlier in the year after a scuffle broke out between him and another man in a pub central London before being charged with two offences that were racially motivated a week back when he was answering his bail. Anton Ferdinand himself accused the former England international captain of racially abusing him during a Premier League match between Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea at the club’s Loftus Road ground in October 2011.
Terry always maintained he was innocent of the charge labeled on him and was acquitted of any criminal offence after his case reached the magistrates. The verdict last year saw an end to a long drawn saga that led to the Chelsea skipper being stripped of his international captaincy by the FA which led the then national team boss Fabio Capello to resign and Terry soon announced his retirement from international football, and became a piece of football art.
The FA eventually banned him from four domestic games and fined £ 220,000 which also caused much furor among fans and media pundits as well as critics. A spokesperson for the Terrys stated that they are declining to comment as the charges have already been brought. This incident is another controversy in an already chequered career for terry which includes his arrest for a bar room brawl in 2002 and the controversy surrounding Anton Ferdinand last season.
The manager of Queens Park Rangers, Harry Redknapp, has said that he doesn’t want to use the strong words for his players even after their blunders in the match against Wigan Athletic which was played at the Loftus Road Stadium on Sunday.
That match finished in the form of a draw and QPR managed to get only one point. The Rangers need points badly to make their way out of the relegation zone and they were desperately looking for a victory against Wigan.
However, one thing for which the Rangers need to be praised is that they played with only 10 players for almost 70 minutes of the match, but, they didn’t let the opposition capitalize on that.
However, in the last few moments, the Rangers made some big mistakes and as a result of that, they lost a couple of points.
The rangers went ahead by 1-0 with the goal of Loic Remy in the 85th minute. That seemed to be the decisive blow, but, Latics didn’t have the same opinion. They were not ready to give up and their fighting attitude paid off in the 4th minute of the injury time when Shaun Maloney found the net for them.
Maloney’s shot could have been cleared by Adel Taarabt, but, he didn’t keep his eye on the ball. He turned the other way and the ball went over him. His team mates looked gutted after that leveller.
Talking to the reporters after the match, Redknapp said, “This is a team which is very low in confidence. All the guys are nervous at this point of time. So, I don’t want to demoralize them even more by criticizing them here.”
“I just want to look at the positives. We were one guy short for a large part of the match and despite that, we didn’t let them dominate. It was a fighting effort by the team.”
